Last Friday Kilkenny County Council launched a new Repair Directory as part of its waste prevention initiatives. The idea for compiling a Repair Directory was a follow on to the highy successful Repair Cafe event which was held in Kilkenny City last November. At the event it was clear that people were unaware of the extensive range of local repair services available. Since then Kilkenny's EAO Bernadette Moloney with the assistance of Thomastown Tidy Towns group has compiled the directory.
